a performance, as a game, and in his quest to be real, Ball Joint Boy is already making himself. As Ball Joint Boy makes his own realness he is tormented by creatures from the Otherworld. The Otherworld exists underneath the living and waking world. It is arguably in-between this world and whatever comes next, and boasts shadow selves, magical creatures, and miracles as its residents.
